Hamilton Bears are bespoke handmade memory bears created from your treasured clothing. Almost anything that is special to you can be sent to make your Hamilton Bear

What Makes Us Different

We would like to tell you a little bit about what makes us different and why you may wish to choose Hamilton Bear;

The Patterns:

The patterns for our bears are unique to us. Not happy with the off the shelf options available Carrie spent a long time developing unique patterns for Hamilton Bear. She studied, made, tweaked and remade countless bears before deciding on the right block for the bears. The body and face shapes are unique to us and were developed specifically to have big squishy tummies (both for their huggability and for their sitting expertise), oversized paws (perfect for messages) and warm friendly faces. Whilst there is always room for improvement, we are very proud of the cheeky characters we have created.

100% Made in Ireland:

Every single Hamilton Bear is handmade in Ireland in Carrie's home studio located in Dublin 2. No single element of the bear is exported, outsourced or made off premises. Customers are welcome to visit us (see below) where you will no doubt see bears at their different stages of coming alive.

Come and Visit Us:

Many of our customers come and visit us either to drop in their clothes, collect their bear, or both. We love to meet you in person as it gives us the opportunity to get to know you and the story behind your bear. Any information Carrie can garner from you all gets added to the mix when creating your bear - you would be amazed the difference just a few minutes chat makes when getting to know the family behind the bear.

We do ask for you to book appointments in advance as it's important to us to be prepared for your visit. We are also a home studio, and whilst we rarely leave, we may just have nipped out with Boris (our pooch) for a quick walk.
